Le Khan Mogador, Riad eco responsable

The Riad takes an eco-friendly turn, respecting the environment

I live a large part of the year in Geneva, Switzerland, a country known for its cleanliness and its population committed to protecting the environment. The Swiss are wonderful citizens who work hard for their homeland, and I truly admire them.

Why not here too?

My motto: { where there is a will, there is a way }

When you love people and your country, you want the best for it.

With my dear team, I have committed to transforming the Riad into an eco-friendly Riad. The process is not that difficult, but the commitment is strong.

Our commitments:

  • Eliminating plastic: No more plastic water bottles or paper napkins.
  • Using filtered water: Served in carafes and glass bottles.
  • Returning to fabric napkins: Just like in the good old days.
  • Reducing water waste: Unused filtered water in the rooms will be collected to water plants and clean floors.

Let’s adopt responsible habits:

Together, let’s reduce our water consumption:

  • Turn off the water while brushing your teeth, shaving, or during shower soaping.
  • Our linen change policy follows your own: do you change your sheets and towels every day at home?
  • At Khan Mogador, towels and bed linens will not be changed daily for ecological reasons.

Natural cleaning products:

We use baking soda, white vinegar, and black soap to protect your health and that of our staff.

A tradition of hygiene:

In my culture, we remove our shoes when entering our homes. This rule will also apply at Khan Mogador for a healthier and more respectful environment.
